This app completely changed my elliptical experience from an arduous 30-60 minute slog to an interactive, rewarding workout. Thank you so much for making the gym more bearable.

Fantastic

By far the best app to take with you on the elliptical. I always feel so accomplished after every workout- It really makes the most of your time at the gym.

Great! Except the canned music...

Love this app! And the treadmill and spinning versions. However, unlike my other lolo apps, I cannot get this version to stop playing the pre-canned music. I have to pause my workout at least three times every half hour to reload the playlist so it plays my iPod music. I have a ton of songs with a variety of bpms ... There is no reason why it should keep playing the lolo music. I have deleted/reloaded the app and everything. Nothing works. The setting for playing the lolo music is off. I would really appreciate it of this could be fixed. Then the app would be perfect!

Hmmmm

I really liked using this app but the latest version will not load on my iPhone4. It just crashes every time. Very disappointed.

Work in progress

First, I use this app along with other BeatBurn apps daily and love them all...except this one! I find THIS one and the lack of support for it very frustrating!! An update to fix the crashing and music problems has been promised forever, but they seem more intent on supporting their newer apps! I, too, am sick of the canned music that came with it! I have over 500 songs that Ive added covering all BPM needs. I should never be subjected to what someone else thinks I might like! This version crashes constantly, and if it doesnt crash in the middle, it doesnt "finish" completely leaving you to hope that your workout got recorded correctly. I DO love the app, but I would wait for the next version...IF it ever comes! WHEN an update comes that fixes its issues, I will be very excited and will happily/quickly change my rating to five stars!! In the meantime, Im sick of waiting for empty promises!!

Absolutely the best app to push you and motivate at the same time.

Needs option to TURN OFF the "interactive personal trainer"

I was very excited to try this app, but I am disappointed by its lack of cofigurability. I want to set my own workouts. This "interactive personal trainer" does not know what I need. Also, I hate that pre-recorded voice talking at me all the time. Even though I set "Play Coaching Audio" to OFF, she just keeps talking and talking and talking. Annoying! I cant use this app unless it becomes more configurable to MY needs and preferences. The beat matching function is great, but I want to adjust the BPM to the rate of my choosing.

Great Cross Training Workout!

If you need a super effective no impact option, this is the perfect app for you. Ive never had such an effective workout on an elliptical. Lolo is just amazing!

Doesnt say stride per min

I updated the app but the voice doesnt read out the stride per minutes even if you have it set to that in the information or on the main screen. It only announces the RPM. Please fix this!

Awesome amazing app!

I was having problems with the app after the last update and I reached out to the developer on FB. I received a prompt reply with steps to correct the problems. Everything is working as it should and Im back to my extreme love of this app. BeatSync is by far the biggest selling feature. Use your own music and tempo is adjusted. Get it. Worth the money & you will have no regrets.

Worth Every Penny.

This program takes the hard fought time you spend on the elliptical and makes it fun and much more productive. Im glad I bought it and I highly recommend it.

my new best fitness tool!

My elliptical has been collecting dust as Ive been collecting pounds. Someone told me about this app and it has become my new best fitness tool. Before LOLO, I could only last 10 minutes before I was bored and ready to quit. Lolo keeps it interesting enough for me to keep going. I get to use my own music, the segments go quickly, and I find myself working harder/smarter than ever. The developers offer great support. Every one of my questions was either answered via email or the support area of their website. I now look forward to my 6 am "class" with Lolo!! : ) Bottom line, I am so glad I found this app. It has put me back on track for my fitness goals. Thanks.

Must have!

Another motivational work out application that keeps my attention with a variation of activities. My knee started hurting from running so I gave the elliptical a try, I am hooked now. The music keeps you engaged and it is awesome to see the increased distance each work out.

Pros and Cons to Variety

I love that I can change difficulty mid-workout as needed. I LOVE that the intervals are short (30 seconds to 2 minutes), that the trainer calls out time left in the interval, and there is a 5-second countdown at the end of each interval. I LOVE that the BPM of my own music can be changed to match the RPMs that the trainer wants me to go at. I love that I dont listen to a song for very long before the next interval comes along and the song changes. But it can definitely feel like youre watching TV with someone who cant stop channel-surfing, and sometimes you just want to grab the remote from them and its driving you crazy and can they PLEASE just stick with one thing for just a FEW minutes!? I also agree with another users review which points out that the app timer stops while the Lolo trainer is telling me what my next interval is going to be. As a result, in a half hour workout, I am frequently using the elliptical machine for 3-5 minutes longer than the Lolo app predicts. Good thing my elliptical machine tracks calories too. I log the calories burned per my elliptical machine and I see the calories burned per the app as just an estimate.

Best exercise tool for me

This has really motivated me to use my elliptical. I went from maybe two or three times a week for 20 minutes to 30 minutes everyday. The workouts are challenging and fun. Now I am seeing real results. Lolo literally saved my life. Ever app can have some improvements, but Lolo is a real winner. Whatever Lolo wants Lolo gets and Lolo wants you to be healthy!

No MPH? Cant use.

Great app...or it would be if it supported MPH. Many ellipticals only give you MPH and not RPM or Strides per Minute, and the ones it my gym are exactly like that. That makes this app unusable since they tell you to maintain certain speeds only using RPM or Strides. Please support MPH!

But no mph support means I cant use it at my gym.

Needs max resistance setting

Overall good app. Would like to ask for a max resistance setting, so that I can choose to have intense workouts (intermediate or advanced) without having to crank up the resistance past 75% (or 15 if max is 20), bc I am not wanting to build bulkier leg muscles. Trying to change this during the workout takes away from the workout, as it then messes with the overall intensity I am looking for. Made my workouts less than satisfying, having to adjust, readjust, adjust again, etc. during the interval portion. Also, the instructions say to tap twice on the portion of the workout you want to skip to, but this hasnt worked for me yet. The bar you tap twice on just blinks for a while, and that is it. Also, an option to skip the warm up would be good, as I often start this workout after I have already warmed up with other exercises.
